Dreadnought, GB Enter ship type laid down 1906

Displacement:

18 879 t light; 20 076 t standard; 21 858 t normal; 23 284 t full load

Dimensions: Length (overall / waterline) x beam x draught (normal/deep)

(526,90 ft / 526,90 ft) x 82,02 ft x (30,84 / 32,50 ft)

(160,60 m / 160,60 m) x 25,00 m x (9,40 / 9,91 m)

Armament:

10 - 12,01" / 305 mm 45,0 cal guns - 873,08lbs / 396,02kg shells, 150 per gun

Breech loading guns in turret on barbette mounts, 1906 Model

5 x Single mounts on centreline ends, evenly spread

27 - 2,99" / 76,0 mm 45,0 cal guns - 13,51lbs / 6,13kg shells, 150 per gun

Breech loading guns in casemate mounts, 1906 Model

27 x Single mounts on sides amidships

Weight of broadside 9 096 lbs / 4 126 kg

5 - 18,0" / 457 mm, 6,56 ft / 2,00 m torpedoes - 0,338 t each, 1,690 t total

In 1 sets of deck mounted carriage/fixed tubes

Armour:

- Belts: Width (max) Length (avg) Height (avg)

Main: 11,0" / 280 mm 524,93 ft / 160,00 m 11,48 ft / 3,50 m

Ends: Unarmoured

Main Belt covers 153% of normal length

- Gun armour: Face (max) Other gunhouse (avg) Barbette/hoist (max)

Main: 11,0" / 280 mm 11,0" / 280 mm 11,0" / 280 mm

2nd: 11,0" / 280 mm - -

- Armoured deck - multiple decks: 4,02" / 102 mm For and Aft decks

Forecastle: 4,02" / 102 mm Quarter deck: 4,02" / 102 mm

- Conning towers: Forward 11,02" / 280 mm, Aft 0,00" / 0 mm

Machinery:

Coal and oil fired boilers, steam turbines,

No drive to shaft, 0 shafts, 29 229 shp / 21 805 Kw = 21,00 kts

Range 5 000nm at 12,00 kts

Bunker at max displacement = 3 209 tons (100% coal)

Caution: Too much power for number of propellor shafts

Complement:

898 - 1 168

Cost:

?1,786 million / $7,145 million

Distribution of weights at normal displacement:

Armament: 1 969 tons, 9,0%

- Guns: 1 968 tons, 9,0%

- Torpedoes: 2 tons, 0,0%

Armour: 7 708 tons, 35,3%

- Belts: 2 528 tons, 11,6%

- Armament: 2 748 tons, 12,6%

- Armour Deck: 2 246 tons, 10,3%

- Conning Tower: 186 tons, 0,8%

Machinery: 2 088 tons, 9,6%

Hull, fittings & equipment: 7 113 tons, 32,5%

Fuel, ammunition & stores: 2 979 tons, 13,6%

Miscellaneous weights: 0 tons, 0,0%

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:

Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):

29 867 lbs / 13 547 Kg = 34,5 x 12,0 " / 305 mm shells or 3,4 torpedoes

Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1,07

Metacentric height 4,3 ft / 1,3 m

Roll period: 16,7 seconds

Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 99 %

- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0,96

Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1,99

Hull form characteristics:

Hull has raised forecastle,

a normal bow and a cruiser stern

Block coefficient (normal/deep): 0,574 / 0,580

Length to Beam Ratio: 6,42 : 1

'Natural speed' for length: 22,95 kts

Power going to wave formation at top speed: 46 %

Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50

Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 0,00 degrees

Stern overhang: 0,00 ft / 0,00 m

Freeboard (% = length of deck as a percentage of waterline length):

Fore end, Aft end

- Forecastle: 40,00%, 29,53 ft / 9,00 m, 29,53 ft / 9,00 m

- Forward deck: 30,00%, 19,69 ft / 6,00 m, 19,69 ft / 6,00 m

- Aft deck: 15,00%, 19,69 ft / 6,00 m, 19,69 ft / 6,00 m

- Quarter deck: 15,00%, 19,69 ft / 6,00 m, 19,69 ft / 6,00 m

- Average freeboard: 23,62 ft / 7,20 m

Ship space, strength and comments:

Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 67,2%

- Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 125,2%

Waterplane Area: 30 042 Square feet or 2 791 Square metres

Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 110%

Structure weight / hull surface area: 169 lbs/sq ft or 824 Kg/sq metre

Hull strength (Relative):

- Cross-sectional: 1,02

- Longitudinal: 2,79

- Overall: 1,13

Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is excellent

Room for accommodation and workspaces is excellent

Ship has slow, easy roll, a good, steady gun platform

Excellent seaboat, comfortable, can fire her guns in the heaviest weather

Рисунки конечно чудо как хороши... только вот если бы англичане такой корабль построили, то новое поколение линкоров называлось бы не "дредноуты", а "мичиганы"... и дальше все тоже самое что и в реале....
